Wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone . “Luxury “ apartments but you can hear every single neighbor paper thin walls . Neighbors got robbed a week before we moved out. They don’t remove the snow almost fell a few times while pregnant living on the third floor. Make sure you read the lease too because apparently when you pay the lease “buy out” you’re still required to pay the remaining months left on the lease . Even though when signing the lease we were told only pay the lease buy out fee.. There’s also never parking if you get here after 9pm . Loud neighbors screaming late at night .. Maintenance request will take FOREVER you have to follow up and email . Moldy ceiling in the bathroom. They came in and painted over it. . And the list could go on so move any where else but here

Where do I begin? When we first looked at this complex a little over 2 years ago, we were very impressed. All the amenities such as the pool that was open and heated all year, a mini fridge stocked with water in the clubhouse, the beautiful fireplaces going, monthly social gatherings with adult beverages provided, and a pleasant and knowledgeable staff. We loved it and eagerly signed our lease. That’s when it ended. It was a horrible experience. During our move in inspection, I noticed that the patio door was hard to close and didn’t seal, it never got repaired after countless attempts to get it rectified. The shower leaked, that took 7-8 months. No social gatherings (although Covid did hit), the pool was always filthy and not maintained properly. Rude tenants that didn’t pick up after their dogs was ignored. During Covid after the restrictions were eased and restaurants opened but you had to wear a mask while going through. A friend of mine stayed over and we went to the clubhouse in the morning for coffee, wore our masks while walking through and making our coffee, then removed them after we sat down. We were greeted by an unpleasant Belinda (supposedly the “manager”) who told us we needed our masks on. We asked how we were supposed to drink coffee with masked on, and were told that wasn’t her problem and to put our masks on or leave. I almost called movers that day! Fireplaces never worked again due to needed repairs. Then the remaining amenities dwindled to the point that at the end, there wasn’t even sanitizer to wipe down the exercise equipment. The trash compactor was always “broken” with mounds of garbage piled up. The smell made it so we couldn’t even open our windows. I could go on and on. So, if you’re looking for a garbage and dog poop infested home, don’t mind sharing the amenities with the entire area that you pay for, then this is the home for you!! Oh, the streak of 5 star google reviews was because the were bribing the tenants with prizes to post positive google reviews…..

I recently had the pleasure of living at this apartment complex and had a fantastic experience. The property manager, Haley was exceptional - always responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about the residents. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of promptly and efficiently. The amenities were great, the units were spacious and well-maintained, and the community was welcoming and friendly. The maintenance team was also fantastic, always responding quickly to any requests and ensuring that everything was in working order. What really sets this apartment complex apart is the outstanding level of customer service. The property manager and staff consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a genuine concern for the residents' well-being. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to call home. There’s nothing luxury about these apartments. Management is horrible. Honestly don’t have anything good to say about these apartments. Moved out as soon as I could. Don’t move here.

I’ve never written a google review before, but I feel so passionately about this apartment community that I want to warn others. Do NOT live here. My husband and I have lived here for just over a year and have been encountering issues left and right. We are the first and only people to have lived in our apartment (it’s brand new). The community changed hands from Preferred Living to Oakmont Properties sometime during our lease. We were never notified of the change. The following is an outline to problems unaddressed: We had leaking in multiple rooms of our apartment from the ceilings and windows due to rain. We attempted to call an emergency contact number, but one was never provided. Furniture was ruined, but the apartment never cared about that. They also never sent anyone to evaluate the interior damage, so nothing was ever fixed. Due to the apartment’s poor build (floors are uneven, walls aren’t straight, doors don’t close completely…etc), we can regularly smell cigarettes inside our apartment from neighbors who smoke on their patio or in the breezeway outside our door. We put plastic over the windows to prevent drafts. Electric bills are through the roof, in cold and hot weather. The trash compactor is severely undersized for the number of residents. It’s constantly breaking and trash is consistently piled on the side of the unit because it’s overflowing with trash. Due to this, there is often broken glass and trash around the compactor (which is really nice when walking a dog). When we moved in, we were promised a number of amenities that fell through, but are still advertised on their website. Vegas style pool that’s supposed to be open year round wasn’t taken care of, and, therefore, resulted in the pool being closed during pool season. One of the grills caught fire at some point and it took them months to replace. They supply grill tools, which is nice, but they're never clean...always disgusting. They say there will be monthly events, but during the year we lived here, there have been 3. There’s a pool table in the leasing office… the cues go missing. The free Starbucks coffee shrank in size. The list can continue. We have been renting apartments for over 14 years. Neither of us have broken a lease or voiced complaints. This place does not deserve your money—live somewhere else!

The nicest, newest and most economical Class A multi-family property in Columbus, hands down! Super friendly and helpful staff. The complex opened in February 2019 and I moved in March 2020 and I recently renewed my lease. -Easy access it I-70 and I-270. -Right at the Hilliard-Columbus line but in Columbus. -Modern layout and color scheme. -Ample cabinet space and storage. -Super illuminated parking lot. -Parking lot surveillance. -**Able to have a propane grill on the balcony. -Consistent, flat rate water/sewer bills. -Awesome club house with movie room, workout area, business center, lounge, and tanning. -Awesome pool and outdoor area with permeant grills. -The Henri app is pretty cool. It's basically a social media site just for the complex. You can post messages to the news feed, list items for sale, submit service requests and chat/connect with your neighbors! -If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that there are no knobs on any of the cabinets and some of the light bulbs in the stairwells are a mixture of soft white and daylight colors. 😂 After reading several of the other comments: -The electric bills run slightly higher than average ONLY due to the utility company, nothing with the property. -We live in Columbus so it does snow a lot but the staff does their best at keeping the sidewalks and parking lots clear and de-iced. -Like any mechanical device, the issue with the trash compactor was taken care of within three days and the staff did have a temporary dumpster brought in to take care of the problem. I have recommended Sycamore House to several of my friends!

Don’t live here!! Oakmont Properties who runs the complex is terrible. They never pick up the phone when you call. Pool is always disgusting. During the winter I slipped and fell in the parking lot because no one had been around to salt or clean the parking lot for 5 days and finally they called someone to come the day after I fell. They take no responsibility or care for their residents. During the winter our staircase was always so icy and no one ever came to salt. When i mentioned something to the regional manager chris his response was well we don’t want to ruin the wood. Had nothing to say when I said sounds like some wood is more important than someone’s safety or life. I’ve lost close to 5k in lost wages have around 8 k in medical bill after my surgery. For your own safety do not live here or you will regret it like I do. Now when I've moved out they told me our last months water and electric would be taken out of our security deposit. This is also after giving us different amounts for our last months pro rated rent. This place is so unprofessional. Also I would not believe any of the positive reviews because they were offering residents money off their rent for any good reviews they post.
